CREATIVE PAWS INTERIORS is quite simply an interior design service that aims to help you make the very best of your home or business environment.
Every client’s needs are different and I deal with everyone on an entirely individual basis.
I have over 20 years experience of the interiors’ business. Before setting up my own Interior Design Business from my home ‘paws two’ in 2009, I worked as the Regional Interior Designer for one of the UK’s largest established Home Accessories companies covering the majority of the north coast of the South West of England from bristol to Penzance. since setting up on my own, the geographical scope of my work has increased to encompass the whole of the South of England including Greater and central London.
I am just about to complete the Postgraduate Certificate in Architectural History at Oxford University, a course that is taught in conjunction with oxford brookes and English Heritage; I undertook this course in response to the increasing number of historic and period properties I have been asked to decorate, houses that have dated from the Elizabethan period of the late 16th Century through to the rapid changes in fashion of the 19th and 20th Centuries, up today’s current focus on all things retro, vintage and reclaimed: each project has been a pleasure as well as a challenge. i have also recently been asked to work on contemporary designs for a number of new build projects and renovations for which I have again been able to draw on the historical inspiration of earlier movements such as the famous Bauhaus tradition.
My current Architectural course is built on a sound academic background in History gained at King’s College London and corpus christi college cambridge; knowledge that I have been able to intertwine with my professional design training and extensive practical knowledge of textiles, and a proven track record in international Project Management that combined, enables Creative Paws Interiors to offer a genuinely unique design service that not only ensures that care and attention is given to every aspect of your project - from the responsible sourcing of materials to the quality of the overall finish – but is equally able to offer imagination, innovation and personality based on sound research and understanding.

if you wish to create your home or business interior from items that can be certified as” fair trade” this is an area in which i have extensive experience. Similarly if you are considering a “passive” or “reduced, minimal or zero carbon” home this is an area in which myself and the talented crafts people I work with have an ever expanding knowledge and expertise.
There is often a misconception that using a designer to help create your home can be prohibitively expensive; I usually find that I save clients both time and money as I am able to immediately introduce clients to that perfect pattern or colour that they simply did not know was available or do not have time to source.
